Disney’s BoardWalk will welcome a new entertainment and dining venue this fall when Hurly-Burly officially opens Oct. 1, 2026. The waterfront location will combine family-friendly activities during the day with an adults-only live music lounge at night, while serving specialty drinks and light bites throughout the day.
Hurly-Burly is moving into the former Jellyrolls space on Disney’s BoardWalk. Disney is giving the venue its own fictional history, presenting it as a seaside theater that once hosted celebrated vaudeville performers during the golden age of coastal boardwalk entertainment.
That backstory fits the broader theme of Disney’s BoardWalk, which draws inspiration from turn-of-the-century destinations such as Atlantic City and Coney Island.
The venue will operate differently depending on the time of day. During the afternoon, guests of all ages will be able to participate in trivia, games and other activities led by a host. Beginning at 9 p.m., Hurly-Burly will become a 21-and-over venue featuring live musical acts, with genres changing from night to night.
Disney has also revealed the food and drink menu ahead of opening day.
Food offerings will focus on shareable appetizers and familiar boardwalk-style dishes with Italian-American influences. Announced selections include Meatballs in Tomato Gravy, Antipasto, Roast Beef Sliders, Oven-Roasted Shrimp and Tomato Pie. Prices for the food items revealed so far range from $11 to $21.
The drink lineup is considerably larger, with a selection of specialty cocktails created around the venue’s theatrical and seaside theme.
Options include the Cherry-Vodka Limeade, made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Amarena cherry and cold-pressed lime juice, and The Atlantic Review, which combines Hangar One Mandarin Blossom Vodka, Cointreau, orange juice and Sprite.
Other specialty cocktails include Bubble Brava!, La Taquilla Picante, the gin-based Mertini, the Atlantic Coast-inspired Road to Fame whiskey sour, Off-book Bramble and Quality EntertainMint. Several drinks will also be available from a walk-up window, giving BoardWalk visitors a way to order without entering the lounge.
Wine, beer, nonalcoholic specialty beverages and frozen drinks will round out the beverage menu.
Disney says Hurly-Burly will be walk-up only, with no reservations required. That setup makes the venue different from many Walt Disney World lounges and table-service locations that rely heavily on advance reservations. Availability will instead depend on capacity when guests arrive.
The opening is part of a broader evolution underway at Disney’s BoardWalk. Disney has been updating dining, retail and entertainment offerings around the Crescent Lake promenade while also completing refurbishment work in select areas of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
Hurly-Burly is especially notable because of the role its predecessor played in BoardWalk nightlife. Jellyrolls, the long-running dueling piano bar, had been one of the area’s signature nighttime entertainment venues. Hurly-Burly maintains the focus on live music while significantly changing the concept by adding daytime programming, food and a wider range of beverages.
With an Oct. 1 opening now confirmed, guests visiting Walt Disney World this fall will soon have a new reason to spend time along the BoardWalk. By shifting from games and trivia in the afternoon to cocktails and live performances after 9 p.m., Hurly-Burly is designed to serve two very different audiences within the same seaside-inspired space.
