The Diamond Horseshoe will offer a new limited-time food and beverage experience at Magic Kingdom this fall, replacing its traditional family-style service with a menu centered on shareable small plates and specialty drinks.
Disney has not announced an opening date, pricing or the complete menu for the Frontierland pop-up. However, an initial preview includes a charcuterie board, a sweet-and-spicy nonalcoholic lemonade and a colorful prickly pear margarita. Additional dishes and reservation information are expected to be revealed closer to the experience’s debut.
The savory charcuterie board is designed for sharing and features cured beef, “fancy bacon,” smoked pork, green chile cheese, smoked cheddar and pickles. Disney says more small plates will be announced, suggesting the temporary menu will provide several options for groups looking for a lighter meal or a break between attractions.
The Enchanting Ember Lemonade will be available to guests of all ages. The drink combines Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, strawberry and hot honey, with a chili-lime seasoning around the rim. Its mixture of sweet, spicy and citrus flavors continues a broader trend of Disney Parks beverages using contrasting flavors rather than offering a conventional fruit lemonade.
Guests ages 21 and older will also be able to order the Cactus Rose Margarita. The cocktail is made with LALO Blanco Tequila, prickly pear, lime and agave, resulting in a bright pink drink that fits the pop-up’s Old West-inspired setting.
Disney plans to accept walk-up diners when the experience opens. Reservations will also be addressed in a future announcement, although the company has not confirmed when bookings will begin or whether advance reservations will be required for some operating periods.
The temporary offering marks a notable change for The Diamond Horseshoe, which traditionally serves the same holiday-inspired family-style meal found at the neighboring Liberty Tree Tavern. That all-you-care-to-enjoy menu includes roasted turkey, pot roast, pork, traditional sides and Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake.
Those dishes are not disappearing from Magic Kingdom. Disney confirmed that guests will still be able to order the familiar Thanksgiving-style meal at Liberty Tree Tavern while the pop-up operates at The Diamond Horseshoe.
Regular table-service dining at The Diamond Horseshoe temporarily ended May 16, 2026, as the venue prepared for Jessie’s Roundup during Walt Disney World’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER celebration. The Toy Story-themed experience uses the historic dining hall for indoor activities and entertainment. Disney’s official restaurant page previously stated that dining service was expected to return in fall 2026, and the newly announced pop-up now provides the first details about how the space will be used.
Located near the boundary between Liberty Square and Frontierland, The Diamond Horseshoe is designed as an elaborate Old West music hall. Its multi-level dining room includes a stage, balconies and decorative details recalling a frontier-era saloon. The building has hosted both meals and entertainment during its long history at Magic Kingdom, giving Disney flexibility to use it for seasonal and temporary concepts.
The upcoming pop-up appears intended to make the venue a more casual stopping point than its usual fixed-price family-style meal. Shareable dishes and walk-up availability could make it easier for guests to visit without committing to a large dinner, although its exact operating format remains unconfirmed.
Disney says more menu items and logistical details are coming soon. Until then, the charcuterie board and two specialty beverages offer the first taste of a temporary dining concept that will bring a different kind of Frontierland experience to The Diamond Horseshoe this fall.
