Spaceship Earth has stood at the entrance of EPCOT since opening day, but the attraction hidden inside that enormous silver sphere has changed dramatically over the years. In this documentary, we trace the complete history of Spaceship Earth, beginning with Walt Disney’s original vision for EPCOT and the revised theme park that followed. We explore the influence of Buckminster Fuller, Ray Bradbury, Expo 67 and world’s-fair design before looking at how Disney built one of the most recognizable structures on Earth. In this Disney World audio quiz, you will hear a five-to-seven-second clip from a present-day ride or transportation attraction, then try to identify it before the answer is revealed.
