Disney has confirmed the end-of-an-era timeline for DinoLand U.S.A.: DINOSAUR’s last day of operation will be February 1, 2026, with the entire land closing to guests on February 2, 2026. The company says the closure clears the way for a full reimagining of the area, culminating in the previously announced Tropical Americas expansion.
Tropical Americas-centered on the new region Pueblo Esperanza-will bring two anchor attractions: an original “Indiana Jones” temple adventure and the first-ever ride-through inspired by “Encanto,” where guests explore Antonio’s rainforest room inside the Madrigal family’s Casa Madrigal. Disney positions the project as a vibrant, culture-forward addition to Animal Kingdom, with dining and marketplace experiences woven around the new attractions. While exact phasing can shift, Disney and several outlets continue to point to 2027 for the land’s debut.
