Guests visiting Walt Disney World during the first week of November will have more time in several theme parks than originally scheduled. Disney has revised operating hours for November 1 through 7, 2026, with some of the most substantial additions coming at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom also gains an extra late-night hour on Saturday, November 7, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens earlier that same day.

At Animal Kingdom, the November 1 and November 7 closing times have moved from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. That gives day guests two additional hours on both dates. The park is now scheduled to close at 7 p.m. on November 2, November 5, and November 6, one hour later than previously posted. November 3 and 4 remain scheduled for 6 p.m. closings. Regular opening time is 8 a.m. throughout the week, with Early Theme Park Entry at 7:30 a.m. for eligible guests.
Those evening extensions are particularly useful at Animal Kingdom, which has frequently closed earlier than the resort’s other theme parks. A later closing creates additional opportunities to experience Pandora – The World of Avatar as daylight fades and the land’s bioluminescent effects become more noticeable. The added time also gives visitors more flexibility to spread out attractions and dining, although individual attraction, restaurant, and entertainment schedules can differ from the park’s published closing time.
Magic Kingdom’s change is concentrated on November 7. The park is now listed as open from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m., instead of the previously posted 10 p.m. closing. November 1 through 6 retain a 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. schedule. Eligible hotel guests receive Early Theme Park Entry beginning at 8:30 a.m. with those regular 9 a.m. openings. An extra hour after the evening entertainment can be especially valuable for guests hoping to fit in additional rides before leaving the park.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a smaller but still useful adjustment on November 7. Its opening moves from 9 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with Early Theme Park Entry starting at 8 a.m. for qualifying guests. The regular park closes at 7 p.m. that night, when Disney Jollywood Nights begins its 2026 run as a separately ticketed evening event. On November 1 through 6, Hollywood Studios remains scheduled for 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
EPCOT’s regular operating schedule for November 1 through 7 remains 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The park continues hosting the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival during this period. As always, special access programs such as Extended Evening Theme Park Hours have their own eligibility rules and should not be confused with general operating hours available to all ticketed guests.
The revised hours arrive during the transition from Halloween into the holiday season. Hollywood Studios hosts the first Jollywood Nights on November 7, followed by the opening night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom on November 8. On Christmas party nights, Magic Kingdom closes early to regular day guests, making it especially important to check the calendar rather than assume that one day’s schedule will apply to the next.
These extensions were reported October 18 and 19, so they are not a brand-new announcement made on October 20. They are nevertheless a concrete change for travelers who built itineraries around the earlier hours. Disney can adjust operating times again before November, and the most reliable final check is the official Walt Disney World calendar or My Disney Experience shortly before visiting.
