Another Walt Disney World resort dining location is preparing to close for an extended refurbishment, this time at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.
Singing Spirits Pool Bar, the outdoor beverage location beside the resort’s guitar-shaped Calypso Pool, is scheduled to close in November 2026, with refurbishment work expected to continue into early 2027.

The closure is currently reported to begin November 2, although Disney’s online dining calendar has also shown the location becoming unavailable beginning November 11. Guests with upcoming reservations should check the latest resort information for the precise start date.
A temporary pool bar is expected to operate nearby during the refurbishment, allowing guests to continue purchasing drinks without leaving the main pool area.
Disney has not released a detailed description of the planned improvements or announced an exact reopening date.
Singing Spirits Pool Bar Closing in November
Singing Spirits is the primary poolside bar at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, serving guests relaxing around the Calypso Pool.
Located near the resort’s main building, Melody Hall, the bar provides a convenient place to purchase refreshments without traveling to another section of the property.
Its beverage selection normally includes specialty cocktails, draft beer, sangria, wine, and other refreshments.
The location is especially convenient for guests spending an afternoon at the resort between theme park visits or enjoying a full pool day.
Under the reported refurbishment schedule, the permanent bar will be unavailable for several months, extending through the busy Thanksgiving and Christmas travel periods.
Although the temporary closure will affect the normal poolside dining experience, guests should still have access to beverage service nearby.
Disney has not confirmed whether the temporary location will offer the complete Singing Spirits menu or operate during the same hours as the permanent bar.
What Will Change During the Refurbishment?
At this point, the exact scope of the Singing Spirits project has not been disclosed.
Disney has not announced whether the work will involve a new bar layout, updated equipment, structural repairs, refreshed theming, or a combination of improvements.
The resort’s music-inspired design provides plenty of opportunities for decorative updates, but there is currently no confirmed information suggesting a substantial redesign.
Guests may encounter construction activity near the bar during the refurbishment.
Because Singing Spirits is positioned beside the Calypso Pool, work in the area could be noticeable to guests using the resort’s main recreational facilities.
However, no separate closure of the Calypso Pool has been announced in connection with this project.
That distinction is important for families planning resort days. The bar refurbishment does not, by itself, mean the resort’s main swimming pool will be unavailable.
Another All-Star Resort Pool Bar Gets Refurbished
The Singing Spirits closure follows a similar project at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar, located beside the Surfboard Bay Pool, closed September 18, 2026, for a refurbishment scheduled to continue through mid-December.
Disney arranged temporary poolside beverage service at All-Star Sports during that closure as well.
The two projects share several characteristics, including their locations beside the resorts’ primary swimming pools and the use of temporary service areas.
However, Disney has not confirmed that Singing Spirits will receive the same improvements as Grandstand Spirits.
The projects should therefore be considered separate refurbishments rather than evidence of a specific resort-wide redesign program.
Disney’s All-Star Resorts have undergone numerous improvements over the years, including guest room updates and work on recreational facilities.
Maintaining these amenities is particularly important at Value Resorts, where guests often rely on the main food court and pool bar for convenient dining options.
Other Dining Options at All-Star Music
Guests staying at All-Star Music will continue to have access to Intermission Food Court, the resort’s primary quick-service dining location.
Situated inside Melody Hall, Intermission serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering a more substantial selection of meals than the pool bar.
The food court is within walking distance of the Calypso Pool, making it a practical alternative for guests looking for food during the refurbishment.
Singing Spirits primarily fills a different role, providing convenient beverages for guests already enjoying the pool area.
The temporary bar should help preserve that convenience, although its exact location, operating hours, and menu have not yet been detailed.
All-Star Music also features the Piano Pool, a quieter recreational area away from the main Calypso section.
No changes to the Piano Pool have been announced as part of the Singing Spirits refurbishment.
What Guests Should Know Before Their Stay
For guests visiting Disney’s All-Star Music Resort in November, December, or early 2027, the biggest change will be the temporary loss of the permanent Singing Spirits bar.
The resort’s main food court and other hotel amenities are not part of the announced closure.
A temporary beverage location is expected to reduce the inconvenience, but guests should allow for possible construction activity near the Calypso Pool.
The reopening date remains unconfirmed beyond the reported early 2027 timeframe.
As Disney provides additional information about the construction schedule, temporary bar arrangements, and reopening plans, guests will have a clearer picture of what to expect.
For now, Singing Spirits is joining the growing list of Walt Disney World resort dining locations receiving attention as Disney continues updating facilities throughout its hotel collection.
