“Celebrate the Magic” was a nighttime projection show that took place at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The show was a stunning combination of state-of-the-art projection mapping technology and Disney storytelling magic.
The main focal point of “Celebrate the Magic” was Cinderella Castle, which served as a canvas for the vibrant and enchanting projections. The show featured iconic Disney characters, scenes, and music from various Disney animated films, bringing beloved stories to life in a captivating and immersive way.
Through the use of projection mapping, the castle’s facade would transform into scenes from classic Disney movies, such as “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Frozen,” and many more. Guests were treated to a visual feast as the castle seemed to come alive with colorful animations, special effects, and heartwarming Disney moments.
“Celebrate the Magic” was usually followed by the “Wishes Nighttime Spectacular,” a fireworks show that lit up the night sky above Cinderella Castle. The combination of the projection show and fireworks created a magical and unforgettable experience for guests, making evenings at Magic Kingdom truly enchanting.
It was replaced by the “Once Upon a Time” show in 2016.
