Test Track Cool Wash was the former name and identity of a small refreshment kiosk near Test Track in EPCOT, located in what is now the park’s World Discovery neighborhood. Today, the location is now Refreshment Station Hosted by Coca-Cola, but the Cool Wash name remains strongly tied to its history as one of the most recognizable support spots in the Test Track area.

The kiosk’s original appeal came from how directly it fit the surrounding attraction. Test Track opened in 1999 as EPCOT’s high-speed automotive testing attraction, replacing World of Motion and bringing a much more kinetic, industrial energy to that side of the park. Cool Wash played off that world with automotive theming, Coca-Cola branding, misting features, shade, and cold drinks. It was never a full restaurant, but it was perfectly placed for guests stepping out of a hot queue, waiting for family members, or moving through one of EPCOT’s most sun-exposed areas.

Over the years, Cool Wash became known for frozen Coca-Cola slushies and customizable frozen drinks, sometimes with candy toppings such as Pop Rocks, rock candy, or gummy worms. That made it especially popular with kids and families, while the cooling fans and shaded seating gave it a practical value beyond the menu. In many ways, the location was less about dining and more about relief: a cold drink, a brief rest, and a break from Florida heat beside EPCOT’s fastest attraction.

The stand’s identity shifted as the Test Track area changed. Test Track itself was reimagined in 2012 and again reopened in 2025 with General Motors sponsorship and new scenes focused on the future of mobility. Cool Wash likewise moved away from its older test-dummy and automotive wash theming toward the more neutral Refreshment Station name, though its function stayed largely the same.

Test Track Cool Wash is best remembered as a small but useful piece of EPCOT’s Test Track-era landscape. It was not a destination dining location, but it had a clear sense of place: cold slushies, Coca-Cola theming, misting fans, and a location that made absolute sense in the shadow of a high-speed automotive attraction.
