Walt Disney World Opens November and December 2027 Vacation Bookings

Guests hoping to spend Thanksgiving or Christmas at Walt Disney World next year can officially start making plans.

Disney has opened November and December 2027 vacations for booking, extending its current reservation calendar through the end of next year.

The newly released dates include Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations, vacation packages and theme park tickets, meaning guests can now book arrivals through December 31, 2027.

That fills an important gap in Disney’s 2027 planning calendar.

Walt Disney World initially released most 2027 vacation packages and theme park tickets in April 2026, but that release only covered dates through October. November and December remained unavailable until October 6.

With the latest update, the entire 2027 calendar is now open.

The change is especially important for guests targeting Walt Disney World’s holiday season, traditionally one of the resort’s most popular-and most expensive-periods of the year.

Thanksgiving, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney Jollywood Nights, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays and the resort’s extensive Christmas decorations make November and December popular planning targets, although Disney has not yet announced the 2027 dates for those seasonal events.

Guests can therefore reserve their hotel and park admission now, but should not assume that a particular Christmas party, festival or special event will occur on a specific night until Disney releases those calendars separately.

The newly available dates also provide our first complete look at late-2027 theme park ticket pricing.

Disney uses date-based pricing, so the cost of a one-day ticket varies according to both the park and the date selected.

As reported earlier, the newly released holiday calendar establishes a record $229 one-day ticket ceiling at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT on select peak dates.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios reaches as high as $214, while Disney’s Animal Kingdom tops out at $189.

Those figures are the maximum prices rather than a new standard daily admission rate.

There are less expensive options throughout November and December.

At Animal Kingdom, for example, one-day tickets during December can be found for $169 on select dates. Prices climb as Christmas approaches, with the final stretch of December among the most expensive periods of the year.

That variation makes the newly opened booking calendar useful even for travelers who are not ready to purchase immediately.

Guests with flexible vacation dates can now compare the cost of different weeks rather than estimating what Disney might charge once the final two months became available.

Resort pricing works similarly.

Disney hotel rates vary considerably depending on the resort, room category and travel dates, with Thanksgiving week and the Christmas-to-New-Year period typically commanding premium rates.

Opening the calendar now gives guests the opportunity to compare Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club accommodations before the most desirable room categories begin disappearing.

There will also be a major new resort in the mix for the 2027 holiday season.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to open July 1, 2027, meaning November and December will mark its first Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

The 967-room resort is being constructed along Bay Lake between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on the former Disney’s River Country site.

Disney Vacation Club Members received early access to cash reservations for Lakeshore Lodge on October 6, followed by Walt Disney World Annual Passholders on October 7 and general booking beginning October 8.

Guests considering late 2027 should also remember that booking a vacation this far in advance does not necessarily mean paying the final price available for that trip.

Disney frequently releases room discounts, vacation-package promotions and other offers closer to travel dates. Eligibility varies, and there is no guarantee that a particular resort, room type or travel date will eventually receive a discount.

Booking early can nevertheless secure a preferred resort and room category while those options are still available.

That can be particularly valuable around Christmas, when inventory at popular resorts may become much more limited.

The opening of late-2027 reservations also arrives alongside an unusually large collection of Walt Disney World pricing changes introduced October 6.

Disney increased all four Annual Pass prices, raised the maximum cost of Lightning Lane Premier Pass, adjusted numerous food and beverage prices, increased Memory Maker One Day and raised prices for several tours and premium experiences.

Those changes are separate from the availability of November and December 2027 vacations, although guests pricing a future trip will naturally encounter several of the new rates while planning.

The most important change here is not another increase. It is access.

Until October 6, someone hoping to book a Walt Disney World vacation for Christmas 2027 could research hotels and estimate a budget, but could not actually reserve the complete trip. Now they can.

With November and December added to the calendar, Walt Disney World vacations can officially be booked all the way through New Year’s Eve 2027.
