AstroFizz is a small outdoor snack kiosk in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, located in the area formerly occupied by Cool Ship. Officially launched in late 2025, AstroFizz brought a refreshed identity to one of Tomorrowland’s compact refreshment spots, replacing the old space-shuttle-themed misting and snack location with a brighter, more contemporary concept built around fizzy drinks, slushies, popcorn, churros, and colorful snack-stand energy. Disney currently describes AstroFizz as an outdoor vending kiosk serving frozen slushies, Cherry Cola Churros, and other snacks in Tomorrowland.

The location’s appeal is modest but clear. AstroFizz is not a restaurant, and it is not meant to compete with larger nearby options like Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, The Lunching Pad, or Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies. Instead, it fills the quick-stop role that Tomorrowland needs: a place to grab a cold drink, popcorn, cotton candy, cinnamon-glazed nuts, or a themed treat while moving between Space Mountain, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. Its menu currently includes items such as the Cherry Cola Churro, popcorn, popcorn bucket refills, cotton candy, cinnamon-glazed nuts, bottled water, and fountain beverages.

Its signature item, the Cherry Cola Churro, captures the kiosk’s personality well. Rather than offering a standard churro, AstroFizz leans into a soda-shop-meets-space-port idea, with cherry-flavored sugar, Coca-Cola Cherry icing, and popping candy creating a playful, fizzy effect. That kind of snack fits modern Magic Kingdom dining trends, where even small kiosks are increasingly expected to have a distinctive photo-friendly item or flavor hook.

Historically, AstroFizz is interesting because it marks another small step in Tomorrowland’s ongoing refresh. Cool Ship had been part of the land’s 1990s New Tomorrowland personality, with its crashed spacecraft look and misting effects making it a memorable, if minor, landmark. AstroFizz keeps the area in snack-service use but gives it a cleaner, more beverage-forward identity that better matches the current guest demand for themed drinks and quick mobile-order-friendly items. Mobile order was added to AstroFizz in June 2026, further positioning it as a fast, convenience-driven snack stop rather than a traditional walk-up-only kiosk.

Today, AstroFizz is best understood as a supporting Tomorrowland location: small, practical, colorful, and built around quick refreshment. It does not carry the nostalgic weight of Cool Ship yet, but it gives Magic Kingdom a modern snack point with a clear identity and a signature treat that fits Tomorrowland’s playful sci-fi atmosphere.
