Located in the heart of World Celebration at EPCOT, CommuniCore Hall is a flexible, festival-focused venue designed to serve as a central hub for many of the park’s seasonal events and evolving experiences. Opened as part of EPCOT’s multi-year transformation, the space pays homage to the original CommuniCore buildings that once defined Future World, while reimagining their purpose for a more modern, guest-centric era of the park.

CommuniCore Hall sits adjacent to CommuniCore Plaza and the newly redesigned World Celebration Gardens, forming a cohesive central spine that connects the front of the park to World Showcase. Architecturally, the building embraces a clean, contemporary design language with sweeping lines, open sightlines, and large windows that allow natural light to flood the interior. At night, the structure takes on a more dynamic personality, illuminated by colorful lighting that complements the surrounding gardens and nearby Spaceship Earth.
The primary function of CommuniCore Hall is adaptability. Rather than housing a single permanent attraction, the venue is designed to transform throughout the year, hosting rotating exhibits, food booths, demonstrations, and interactive experiences tied to EPCOT’s major festivals, including the International Food & Wine Festival, Festival of the Arts, and Flower & Garden Festival. This allows Disney to continuously refresh the space, giving returning guests new reasons to explore it with each visit.
Inside, the hall features a spacious, open layout that can be easily reconfigured depending on the event. During festivals, guests may find curated marketplaces, culinary stations, or hands-on workshops, while at other times the space may host live entertainment, character appearances, or educational presentations. The design emphasizes flexibility without sacrificing immersion, using lighting, digital displays, and themed decor elements to tailor the environment to each experience.
CommuniCore Hall also serves as a practical gathering space. With ample room to move, shaded areas, and climate-controlled comfort, it offers a welcome break from Florida’s heat and crowds. Its central location makes it a natural meeting point, whether guests are transitioning between neighborhoods or taking a pause during a busy festival day.
More broadly, CommuniCore Hall represents EPCOT’s shift toward a more fluid, ever-changing identity. While classic pavilions still anchor the park, this space introduces a dynamic layer that evolves with trends, seasons, and guest expectations. By combining flexibility, functionality, and thoughtful design, CommuniCore Hall plays a key role in shaping the modern EPCOT experience, bridging the park’s past with its future.
