The kiosk’s appeal came from its simplicity. EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion is built around architectural grandeur, with its Venetian and Florentine influences, replica campanile, open plaza, and formal dining spaces. Gelati, by contrast, was casual and easy to overlook.
