Ronto Roasters is one of the most popular quick-service stops in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, located inside the marketplace of Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. It opened with the land on August 29, 2019, and quickly became known for doing exactly what a great themed food location should do: serving something distinctive, portable, and memorable while feeling completely embedded in the story world around it. The restaurant is designed as an exotic meat stall, with a large podracing engine suspended over the roasting pit and a droid turning the spit, giving the space a kinetic, lived-in quality that fits the marketplace beautifully.
The signature item is the Ronto Wrap, a warm pita filled with roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and tangy slaw. It has become one of Hollywood Studios’ most praised handheld meals because it is flavorful, relatively easy to eat on the move, and more interesting than a standard burger or chicken-strip basket. The breakfast version, the Ronto Morning Wrap, swaps in eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheddar, and peppercorn sauce, making the location useful earlier in the day as well. Current menus also include options such as overnight oats and plant-forward wraps, helping the small counter serve a wider range of guests than its meat-roasting theme might suggest.

The name comes from the ronto, a large pack animal associated with Tatooine in the Star Wars universe. That reference is a good example of how Galaxy’s Edge handles food: the items are recognizable enough for theme-park guests, but the names, setting, and presentation make them feel like something sold in a remote galactic outpost. Ronto Roasters does not require deep franchise knowledge to enjoy, but fans who understand the world-building details get an extra layer of satisfaction.
Ronto Roasters helped define Galaxy’s Edge as more than a ride land. Alongside Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Oga’s Cantina, Kat Saka’s Kettle, and the Milk Stand, it showed that dining could be part of the immersive environment rather than a break from it. The open-market placement, visible cooking apparatus, themed signage, and compact menu all support the illusion that guests are purchasing food from a local Batuu vendor.
Ronto Roasters remains notable because it has achieved rare Disney snack status: it is both heavily themed and genuinely well liked. It is not a full restaurant in the traditional sense, but for many Hollywood Studios guests, a Ronto Wrap has become an essential part of visiting Black Spire Outpost.
