Pandora – The World of Avatar is a themed land within Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort, based on James Cameron’s Avatar film.
The area features several attractions, including the “Avatar Flight of Passage” attraction, which simulates a banshee ride through the world of Pandora and the “Na’vi River Journey” attraction, which takes guests on a boat ride through the rainforest of Pandora.
It also includes a unique dining and shopping experiences featuring items and food inspired by the world of Avatar. The land also boasts of beautiful floating mountains and bioluminescent plants which are unique feature of Pandora. The land opened in 2017.
